(se+) (70 Day) Superb sugary enhanced flavor and creamy, tender-crisp kernels. Ears average 8" long and almost 2" in diameter and are filled to the tips with 14 rows of bright yellow and pearly white kernels. Good husk protection ensures ear quality. Suitable for mechanical harvest as well as home garden and roadside markets. Resistant to Stewart's wilt and northern corn leaf blight. Treated seed.
Sugary Enhanced (se or se+) varieties have sweet, creamy, tender kernels with a longer harvest period. Isolate from sh2 and sh2-A sweet corn varieties as well as field corn, ornamental corn and popcorn varieties. For home gardens, stagger plantings at least 14 days apart. For acre-sized and larger plantings, space 250' apart.
When planting a combination of su, se and se/sh2 sweet corn varieties, for best results, select varieties with varying maturity dates to avoid cross-pollination.
