Shipping and Handling Charges

Edmunds' ships bareroot roses from late January to late May each season. We endeavor to deliver your roses at the best possible time for planting. We will select the best method for the delivery of your roses. We will ship your order on the earliest possible safe ship date so the roses will arrive in healthy condition.

Please research your specific zone and region to make certain that you are ordering at the proper time. If it is past the optimal planting time for your zones, (noted below) you will not be able to place an order for this year. For optimum success with bare root roses, daily temperatures should be in the range of 40°F to 70°F. We do not recommend planting when average daytime temperatures consistently reach 75°F or higher.

Our delivery services include the Postal Service, FedEx, and other carriers, at our discretion. Our handling and insured delivery charges guarantee the safe arrival of your order. Allow 5 to 14 business days for transit time. Sorry, we do not ship to AK, HI or outside the continental US due to excessive shipping costs.

Shipping Restrictions

AK, HI, - No shipments of plant material or supplies.

PUERTO RICO, CANADA and foreign countries - No shipments of any kind.

We estimate that roses will begin shipping on the following schedule:

Zones 8-11: Late January
Zone 7: Late February
Zone 6: April
Zones 3-5: May

Optimal planting times are as follows:

Zones 8-11: January to Mid-March
Zone 7: Mid March to end of April
Zone 6: April to end of May
Zones 3-5: May to middle of June
