Rose, Climbing, Zephirine Drouhin

One of the most famous of the romantic Bourbon roses. This lovely old-timer was first introduced in 1868. A vigorous climber, it produces masses of semi-double, sweetly fragrant, carmine-pink blooms throughout the season, peaking in spring and fall. One of the few climbing roses with good shade tolerance. Dark green foliage, coppery-purple when young, is very mildew-resistant, covering long canes that are nearly thornless. Zones: 5-9.
