We inspect and grade every rose that enters our facility, and some don't quite meet our high standards for a #1 grade rose, having at least 3 strong canes. This rose is a #1.5 grade and will have at least 2 strong canes. Though we are certain it will establish and perform well, we are offering it at a discounted price.
The rich color is lemon gold with pink to salmon tints on the outer rows of petals and the blooms appear in great numbers despite the large size. The leathery foliage covers robust and free-branching plants that are extremely resistant to both black spot and mildew. Certainly the hardiest of anything near its color. Hybridizer: Kordes®, 1971
