Welcome to Edmunds’ Roses

“A ROSE IS A ROSE IS A ROSE IS A ROSE” ……… there are various interpretations of this famous line written by Gertrude Stein nearly 100 years ago. It came to my mind because, frankly, a rose isn’t just a rose anymore. Today’s rose breeders are introducing roses with blooms in remarkable shapes, colors and sizes on plants of every shape and height. Many roses no longer have to be coddled, but can be grown like carefree flowerings shrubs. Whether you’re a true rosarian with the desire to grow exhibition quality blooms or a homeowner on the go with limited time to spend on the yard, there are roses to fill every need and fit nearly every situation.

            It is our goal at Edmunds’ Roses to be your source for America’s finest garden roses. Not only will we continue to offer the finest cultivars for prize-winning exhibition blooms, but we’ll also have roses that can be used liberally in landscapes to bring color and vibrancy where tired shrubs prevailed in the past. We work closely with America’s best rose growers such as Week’s Roses, Star Roses, Jackson & Perkins and Bailey Nurseries along with their cutting-edge hybridizers to introduce roses like you’ve never seen before. All-American Magic, Rock & Roll, and the blackspot free climbers, Morning Magic and Winner’s Circle are examples of how far rose breeding has come in the past few years.

            It’s an exciting era for rose-lovers everywhere, and we pledge to do our very best to continue to supply you with the high quality roses that you have come to expect from Edmunds’ Roses over the years. Admittedly, we hit a few rough patches last year as we took over the reigns from the Edmunds’ family, but we learned a lot about your expectations and hope we resolved any problems you may have encountered to your complete satisfaction.
